We wandered down to a local river with my parents the other day. Crisp it certainly was, but we did see some snow drops. It was very difficult to envisage doing what we did as kids and swim in the river. The smallest of us did get himself wet but the rest of us just hopped over the rocks and even David was a long way from paddling let alone swimming.
